Straight from West Bengal in India, this is  a black Darjeeling first flush. Compare to the "Impressions" Kombucha that can be drinked and enjoyed straight at 4°C, this one has to be tasted at 12°C like a wine to be able to express all the aspect of her wild and complex personnality.

 

Colour: light green gold
Nose: hay, light oxidation, cut grass
Mouth: vivid attack like a granitic white wine from Loire, followed by a warm darjeeling palette, notes of dry nettle, chamomile, come next notes of white flowers and wild peach, end on the tea himself with subtle tanins and roasted kombu (sea weed).
Bubble: fine, dry & tonic

Ceylon OP* Neluwa

This is a single origin black tea from Neluwa, south-west Sri Lanka; like the black darjeeling  you store it at 4°C but drink it at 13°c to give him the time to grow and develop all the rich and profounds cCeylon aromas.

 

Colour: pale amber
Nose: fresh,, milky & fruity
Mouth: smooth start on the black tea, that progressively express some tangerine & orange aromas, followed by some more toasted caramel notes, ends on a warm but refreshing Ceylon tea personality.

Bubble: light & creamy
